From Digital to Print: The Sunday Edit Story

In 2018, I conceptualized and launched the digital editorial platform, Sunday Edit, a digital magazine dedicated to beauty and lifestyle, attracting 1 million new users in the first year with no paid promotion. This venture emerged as the brainchild of Sunday Riley Modern Skincare, a cutting-edge skincare company renowned for its advanced formulas and effective treatments that deliver both immediate and long-lasting results.

In 2022 I secured Digiday Best Brand Publication nomination for print and digital success. My aim was to provide customers with a comprehensive experience, allowing them to explore the essence of Sunday Riley as a company, beyond just its products. I was dedicated to empowering our readers with knowledge, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding their skincare and overall well-being. I was committed to bringing readers content backed by science and research.

Sunday Edit Journal, Travel Edition, May 2019

In my role as Editorial Director, my team and I had the privilege of curating and creating a comprehensive guide titled 'The Globetrotter's Handbook.' This handbook is designed to assist travelers in every aspect of their journey, from meticulous trip planning to essential tips for surviving red-eye flights, as well as discovering the best beauty spots at their destination. Inside, you'll find advice on packing your beauty bag, a travel bucket list, a beauty black book for top destinations like Paris and New York, and delightful postcards designed by illustrator Derek Desierto.

“It has a ton of great travel tips, spotlights on beauty spots in some major cities, a travel agenda, space to journal, photo tips, and even some postcards that you can pop out and mail! The whole book (which is well-designed and quality printed) was written by The Sunday Edit writers who sound like they know a thing or two about travel. ”

The quarterly subscription boxes curated by Sunday Edit offered customers a selection of the finest products to try. Our dedicated team, self-dubbed 'cool-hunters,' constantly searched for the latest and most promising items. Each product featured in the boxes was personally tested by our team to ensure superior quality and carefully delivered to customers' doorsteps.

Each release was celebrated with unique events, like an unforgettable Slumber Party at The Plaza Hotel in NYC, embracing the spirit of the "city that never sleeps." These boxes allowed customers to discover top-quality items and emerging trends.

Each box included a printed booklet, and we collaborated with a new illustrator for every edition, bringing fresh, unique artwork to every release.
